An authentic Maasai-Samburu traditional African hunting and combat iron spear. Consists of three primary parts: a long, heavy, leaf-shaped iron blade at the top; a central wooden handgrip segment; and a heavy, pointed iron counterweight spike (butt spike) at the base. Spearhead: A prominent, broad, leaf-shaped steel or iron blade. It features a prominent center ridge (fuller) designed to add structural strength while keeping the blade lightweight. Shaft (Handgrip): A long central wooden section connecting the metal components, providing a balanced surface for throwing or thrusting. Tail Spike (Butt): A long, tapered iron spike at the bottom. This component serves to balance the weight of the heavy blade, acts as a secondary spear for close quarters, and allows the user to easily stick the spear upright into the ground.
